Notre Histoire

Our Story

A bakery born from tradition

Bienvenue

A Taste of Alsace in St. Boniface

Le Croissant was born from a love of French baking tradition and the vibrant community of St. Boniface. Located on Tache Avenue in Winnipeg's historic French quarter, the bakery brings the warmth and craftsmanship of Alsatian boulangeries to the Canadian prairies.

Every morning begins before dawn, with bakers shaping dough by hand, laminating butter into croissants layer by patient layer, and coaxing sourdough starters that have been nurtured for years. The result is bread and pastry that honours centuries of French tradition.
